For many of us, when we think of a luxury Disney Vacation, our minds immediately go to the Grand Floridian. This Victorian-themed resort which exudes elegance at every corner opened its opulent doors in 1988 to the delight of Disney fans looking for a more upscale vacation at Walt Disney World. From the driveway to the lobby to the restaurants and guest areas, this is the place to be for the ultimate luxurious Disney vacation.

Accommodations
Last refurbished in 2015, the rooms at the Grand Floridian are just as elegant as the guest areas. While the last refurbishment did away with some of the more obvious Victorian theming elements, the new rooms are beautifully designed with hints of the resort’s theme throughout. Tufted headboards, marble tiling in bathrooms, gold accents and traditional accent furniture are a constant reminder that you’re not just in any 5-star resort, you’re at the Grand Floridian.
